Coleg Cambria students brought home more medals again this year from the national finals of the WorldSkills UK Show at Birmingham, a higher number of medals than any other college in the UK.
The WorldSkills Competition is the flagship event of WorldSkills International, a membership organisation comprising of 67 countries and regions. The organisation is rapidly growing, with its member countries representing over 70% of the world population.
We are a college which strives to help our staff and students to be healthy and active. We aim for everyone across Coleg Cambria to have opportunities to become physically active, by ensuring learners and staff have access to activities. which will support their health and well being, As a college we also support Elite athletes in their pathway to success.
At Coleg Cambria, we are passionate about providing opportunities for elite athletes to represent the college at local, regional and national level. We work in partnership with local and national organisations to provide the best possible experience for our students.
Our elite sport teams are made up of athletes studying a diverse range of subjects across college. Teams compete in AoC Leagues and annual Welsh Colleges tournaments. There is also the opportunity for our individual athletes to compete in national college events.

Every class elects two Class Reps in September so if you’re interested put yourself forward by letting your tutor know. Elected Class Reps run regular meetings and attend Rep Review meetings to discuss cross College student issues.
Work experience can greatly increase your chances of future employment in the career of your choice. As well as giving you industry experience, it allows you to network with employers, increases your confidence and gives you a taste of working life.
