Cambria Cycling Challenge for Charity

Two members of staff from Coleg Cambria Northop and Llysfasi took on the gruelling challenge of cycling from the three Wales Air Ambulance airports all within 48 hours in aid of the colleges chosen charity Wales Air Ambulance.

Supported by Colin Edwards, Ian Moss and Jay Jackson who both work for the Estates team started from Caernarfon to travel east along the North Wales coast before turning south to Welshpool Airport, and on to finish at Llanelli; a total of 240 miles.

Ian who undertook a similar challenge last year by cycling from Holyhead to Cardiff said:

“This was a tough challenge, and Jay and myself had trained hard in preparation.  I’m really pleased that we both completed the challenge within the 48hrs that we had set and it was all worthwhile knowing that we were raising money for charity.”
