• Cambria Business Students Crowned Gold in Enterprise Competition

Students from Yale Sixth Form at Coleg Cambria are celebrating after taking home gold in the Skills Competition Wales: Enterprise Competition held in Llandudno.

A level Business students Toby Carpenter, George Wilbraham, Gugu Ndlovu, Jess Davies, Amy Lavelle and Tushar Bhatia made up the winning team in the fast paced and challenging competition. They were given the opportunity to work as a team under strict time constraints to create an innovative business idea which disrupted a traditional market.

The event celebrated all skills competitions for the year in all categories; from Construction to Hairdressing.

Mel Henry, Coleg Cambria Lecturer said: “The team were able to draw upon their knowledge gained from their studies and apply it to a real life scenario. Not only has this supported them in their achievements within their A levels but also makes them desirable applicants to Higher Educational institutes.”
