Skills for Employers and Employees (SEE)

£16.2M Skills for Employers and Employees (SEE) project provides businesses across North Wales with financial support to raise employee skills and knowledge. The project aims to support employers to build a skilled and adaptable workforce through subsidised training and development. Vocational training is available in a range of key sectors including: Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering and Construction, Health and Social Care, Land-based, Energy and Professional Services.

Coleg Cambria is the lead provider of a partnership with Grŵp Llandrillo Menai and Adult Learning Wales providing training programmes across 6 counties of North Wales; Flintshire, Wrexham, Denbighshire, Conwy, Anglesey, Gwynedd to help improve Skills for Employers & Employees (SEE).

Is my business eligible for SEE funding?

Sole Traders, Micro, Small, Medium & Large Businesses
Private or Public Sector (priority sectors only)
Registered in North Wales
VAT Registration Confirmation from HMRC (self-employed)

Is my employee eligible for SEE funding?

Minimum of 16 years of age
Paid employee of an eligible company (copy payslips)
Not receiving any other Government funding for the same training
Right to live and work in the UK
Does not have to reside in North Wales

What support will I get?

The support for your business can be divided into 3 distinct stages.

There's a high level of financial support available, so you can reap the rewards of accessing subsidised training for your workforce.

The SEE team will help you carry out an assessment of your staff, and identify the skills gaps and training opportunities within your team.

Once a training plan has been agreed, the approved providers will manage the courses on your behalf. All the courses will be specific to the needs of your business and selected to bring the very best out of your team.
