Why Choose An Apprenticeship?

Kickstart your career with an apprenticeship and earn as you learn.

Across North Wales and beyond, companies are recruiting for apprenticeships and training people in the skills they need to succeed in their career.

As an apprentice you will earn whilst you learn, gaining skills, knowledge, experience and recognised qualifications along the way. Whether you’re aged between 16 and 19 or 20 and over, a range of apprenticeship options may be available to you.

A Floristry apprenticeship is a chance to be creative and design unique arrangements for special occasions such as weddings, events and birthdays! You will need to advise customers on the best products for their needs and get to be creative with new designs.

Learners completing these qualifications need to be physically able to meet the demands of working with their hands all day, be able to adapt and have good customer service skills

This course is assessed in the workplace by our industry served teams.

“Completing this course has pushed me out of my comfort zone and given me a new life and path, it’s made me realise you’re never too old to start a new career.

“It was so convenient to be able to learn while earning money and having everything at hand on the Google platform was really useful. The qualification has given me a better understanding of floristry and my confidence has grown talking to customers and having the knowledge to answer questions and give advice.

“I’ve learnt so much and use it a lot on a daily basis. It’s given me the knowledge to create displays for weddings, funerals, gifts and making our creations stand out from others.”

“I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do in the future, so I chose a range of different subjects to study at A Level. I’m now employed by the BBC as a Presenter and News Correspondent and studying at Yale Sixth gave me the confidence and skills to go onto university. I made some amazing friends, had some great teachers who I’ll never forget and had a great time in Wrexham!

“I look back on my time at Yale with pride and fondness and will never forget it!”
