I wanted to be a nurse from the age of 16 but didn’t pass my GCSE Maths at a C or above and actually tried 5 times!  At the age of 30 I completed my Access to HE Psychology course and successfully re-sat my GCSE Maths.  Studying with Coleg Cambria gave me the confidence and courage to pursue my dream.”

“I was a chef at Airbus, but always wanted to work there within an engineering role.  I am a mature learner and this opportunity has been a very positive step for me, I want to give 100% at all times.

“Starting my apprenticeship has been a life changing decision, you get what you put in at Airbus, and Coleg Cambria fully support this. Coleg Cambria have been extremely supportive throughout.  I have had prior jobs that I didn’t enjoy, but now at the end of my apprenticeship I will have a full-time job, successful career and feel privileged to work for one of the biggest companies in my local area; the apprenticeship is ideal and now I feel I can follow my dream.”
