Careers Academy

Coleg Cambria is affiliated with Career Academies UK, itself supported by some of the biggest names in British business.

Our learners are given the unique opportunity of embarking on an exciting two-year programme which includes one-to-one mentoring, a paid internship, motivational lectures and workshops. This programme is designed to fit in alongside regular study and will give our BTEC Level 3 learners additional experience to help them on their chosen career path.

  • Business: BTEC level 3 Extended Diploma

What are the benefits?

Career Academies are supported by a network of businesses and entrepreneurs in both the private and public sector. Once selected for this prestigious programme learners will benefit from the following:

  • six week paid internship
  • partner in business (mentor)
  • guru lectures
  • workplace visits

All are designed to assist learners in the competitive economic climate and to equip them with the best possible skills needed to flourish in the world of work.

A Career Academy is hard work and won’t suit everyone, Candidates will have to be prepared to put in extra work and study and work to a leading company’s expectations of its employees as well as to Coleg Cambria’s high expectations! Tutors are always at hand to help and challenge candidates in order to follow their dream career paths.
